Hello Anacondas Families!

We had a great start to our season, even with some of the weather-related challenges this week. Here are the important updates you need for the coming week:

Parent Meetings

Parent Meetings will be held this week, there are 3 opportunities to join. All meetings will be held in the Amberly Hall room in the Clubhouse (the large room straight past the front desk).

Monday May 20th - 5pm

Tuesday May 21st - 6pm

Wednesday May 22nd - 7pm

Each family only needs to attend one meeting, choose the time and day that works best for you. You do not need to RSVP.

We ask you to please make every effort to attend one of these meetings, they will have lots of important info and updates for the season. We will also be distributing swimmer team bags, swim caps, and gift cards to purchase the team t-shirt this year.

We are excited to be partnering with SquadLocker this year to offer a wide range of team apparel and gear, including the team t-shirt, to all Anacondas families. Get a sneak peek at the Team Store at this link. More information will be given at the Parent Meetings.

Volunteer signups

Volunteer registration is now open! Remember that each family is required to fill 3 volunteer jobs during the season. Please login to the website and sign up for those jobs as soon as possible. This helps us know what is needed for each meet. We will be discussing volunteer roles and volunteer training at the Parent Meetings this week.

Volunteer roles have been assigned based on preference and availability. To see your assigned role: login to our website, click "Welcome (your name)" on the top right of the screen, and select "my account". From there, click your name from the list of your family members and you will see your roles listed in the right side column. If you do not see a job role listed, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assign you a role.

SwimTopia mobile app

We push a lot of urgent info out through the SwimTopia app. This includes last-minute changes to practices due to weather. Please download the app and login using your SwimTopia account. Make sure to enable text or push notifications. This app will also be helpful to see meet lineups and results during the season.

• Intersquad / “mock” meet - Tues June 4th 5pm-8pm (during normal practice time)
• First regular season meet - Home vs. Wellsley - Tues June 11th 5pm

Roster and practice times

Swimmer names, age groups, and practice times are posted on our website under Team Roster. You must be logged in to Swimtopia to view this. Please review and attend the practice time that aligns with your swimmer’s age group.

Clubhouse entry

Amberly Clubhouse rules for entry apply at all times. Please make sure you are following these rules:

• Parents - you MUST have a keytag and scan in at the front desk anytime you access the Clubhouse
• Swimmers 11 & older - you MUST have a keytag and scan in at the front desk if not accompanied by a parent. To enter on your own, you can get a keytag and colored neck band at the front desk by completing the Club Activity agreement and paying a fee.
• Swimmers 10 & younger - you MUST have a colored wrist band to enter the clubhouse without a parent ONLY during swim team practice times. Returning swimmers should have a wristband from last season. New swimmers were given a wristband at swim evaluations. If you need to replace the wristband please speak with a Parent Board volunteer.

Entry and exit of the pool must only be through the Clubhouse front door. Do not use the back gate or side gates of the pool.

Front desk staff will deny entry to anyone who does not follow these rules.
