Hello Anacondas!

Registration for the 2024 TSA Championship meet is now open! The meet will be on Sunday July 21st at the Triangle Aquatic Center in Cary. This is a very fun meet and a chance for the kids to close out their season competing against swimmers in the full TSA league. We would love for as many swimmers as possible to compete for the Anacondas! Please continue reading below for important registration info and details.

This year the meet will be split into 4 sessions:

The times for sessions 2-4 are estimated; finalized warm-up and start times will be sent out 1 week before the meet.

Registration deadline is Tuesday July 9th at 12pm

Registration will be on our website in the same way we declare for regular meets. Look for the event corresponding to your swimmer’s age group, and click on Meet Entry. You will see your swimmer(s) that are eligible for the session. Click Edit and select which swimmer(s) will be attending. You can then choose which events your swimmer would like to enter, and whether they would like to be included in relays. 8 & older swimmers are limited to 3 individual events; 6 & under swimmers are limited to 2 individual events. For this meet, we will only be entering swimmers in the specific individual events that you select for them. The coaches will be putting together relays in each age group if we have enough swimmers who want to participate in relays.

Entry fees for this meet are an additional cost and are not covered in the season registration fee. Entry fees will be $10 per swimmer + $6 per individual event + $2.50 per relay. After you register, please pay the total entry fee for your swimmer(s) to the team’s Venmo account (Amberly Anacondas, @Eric-Schoch-1, last 4 of phone: 7267). If you don’t have Venmo or want to pay via alternate method please email [email protected]. We need payment for registration fees ASAP after you register so please do not delay in reaching out to us if you need help.

There will be NO REFUNDS for entry fees after July 9th.

Important notes for families:

• We cannot make substitutions on deck for relay entries. If you declare your swimmer is available for relays, PLEASE make sure they attend the meet. If we have to scratch a relay due to a no-show swimmer, the other 3 swimmers cannot compete AND there are NO REFUNDS for any of the swimmers’ relay entry fees.
• We are allowed to “swim up” swimmers into older age groups for relays. This could involve your child having to attend another session of the meet. There is a checkbox on the registration page to indicate if you do not want your child to be entered in older age-group relays.
• 6 & Under swimmers will be swimming a full 25 yards for every individual event (and any relays). Please be sure your child can swim the full length in a race before signing up. Speak with the coaches if you have any questions about this.
• Your child should be able to swim a legal stroke for any events they enter. Please speak with the coaches if you have any questions about this.
• The order of events will be the same as all of our regular meets
• We will send out additional details for the meet to all families who register
