Let’s hear it for our Swimmers of the Week:

Auden Hughes, Conrad Wang, Zach Frasure, Piper Talley, Timothy Li, & Jacqueline Ferrer!!

Here are the important updates you need for the coming week:

Sign up and Show Up!

Signup deadline for meets is always the Friday before the meet. We need ALL FAMILIES to declare whether your swimmer is attending the meet or not. Even if you are not attending, please go into SwimTopia and select ‘Not Attending’ for your swimmers in that meet. It’s really helpful for us to have everyone respond to each meet by the deadline. And if you have declared that your swimmers WILL be attending a meet, PLEASE show up to the meet! Last-minute scratches and changes are very difficult. Thank you all in advance!

Volunteer needs for Weldon Ridge meet

We are still in need of Boys 11-12 kid pusher for 2nd shift, and Clerk of Course for 2nd shift, a timer for 2nd shift, and a few more people to help with cleaning up. Please consider signing up!

Our next Meet - Tuesday June 24th at Home vs. Weldon Ridge

  • Sign up your child or decline by tomorrow Friday June 20th at 11:30pm.
  • Swimmers arrive by 4:45p to set up at their age group’s tent, warm up in the pool, & meet their kid-pusher volunteer.
  • Shift #1 volunteers check in at the Volunteer Table by 5:30 (Set-up volunteers at 4:00 & Concessions at 5:00). Shift #2 volunteers check in during backstroke since your shift begins at Breaststroke (around 7:30 or 8:00).
  • Tuesday is going to be a scorcher! Please be prepared and instruct your swimmers to stay hydrated and in the shade as much as possible between swims.
  • Bring goggles, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, towels, black swimsuit with Anacondas logo, food or money for concessions, a towel or small chair to sit
  • Write swimmer name on their upper right back with a Sharpie marker. We will have markers at Volunteer Check-in also.
  • Supervise your swimmer to ensure they are being safe and respectful throughout the entire meet. The recreational pool and shallow end on the side of the lap pool are CLOSED to swimmers during the meet.
  • Swimmers should stay near their age group tent area as much as possible. Have your child communicate with their kid pusher if they need to leave their tent area so your swimmer doesn’t miss their time to swim. Remember that volunteers have limited ability to find swimmers who are not staying in their designated areas.
  • Concessions - there will be pizza, Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets, chips, and drinks for sale. We can accept cash (exact change preferred), Venmo, and Apple Cash. Stick Happens popsicles and Nautical Bowls acai bowls will be on site as well.
  • Ensure your child cleans their space and gathers their belongings before leaving.

Please see the email from Monday noting the home meet themes. We would love to have as many people participate as possible!! The theme for next week is: Pirates & Princesses!
