Let’s hear it for our Swimmers of the Week:
Sebastian Wheeler, Charlotte Norton, Owen Brooks, Addison Lee, Alexander Phan, & Lilah Robertson!
*Previous swimmers of the week- please return the yard signs so we can celebrate our new and future swimmers of the week!
Here are the important updates you need for the coming week:
Our last Meet! - Tuesday July 15th at Highcroft
Our regular season is almost complete! We have one final meet to finish out our regular season. We will send out a separate email with location, arrival times, and more specific details by Sunday.
- Sign up your child or decline by tomorrow, Friday July 11th at 11:30pm.
- Bring goggles, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, towels, black swimsuit with Anacondas logo, food or money for concessions, a towel or small chair to sit
- Write the swimmer name on their upper right back with Sharpie marker. We will have markers with Kid Pushers at the tents as well.
- Supervise your swimmer to ensure they are being safe and respectful throughout the entire meet.
- Swimmers should stay near their age group tent area as much as possible. Have your child communicate with their kid pusher if they need to leave their tent area so your swimmer doesn’t miss their time to swim. Remember that volunteers have limited ability to find swimmers who are not staying in their designated areas.
- Ensure your child cleans their space and gathers their belongings before leaving.
Volunteer Needs for Highcroft meet
We are currently in need of kid pushers 1st & 2nd shift, 1st & 2nd shift Clerk of Course, 1st & 2nd shift Runners, and 2nd shift timers. Please consider signing up to help if you are able.
End of Year Banquet - Help needed
Please RSVP (yes or no, and number of guests) in Swimtopia by Monday July 14th. We will be holding the banquet on Thursday, July 17th. We will start with awards and recognitions in the gym at 6pm, then head out to the pool deck for a celebratory dinner and some pool games! You must RSVP to attend this event.
We need one more person to help set up, some to clean up, and three to help hand out ribbons & medals for this event. Please email Lacy @ [email protected] to volunteer. This will be your last chance to fulfill volunteer requirements for this season!
