Let’s hear it for our Swimmers of the Week:
6 & Under - Henry Wu, Ellie Ferrer
7 -8 - Andersen Tungate, Sindy Wang
9-10 - Ben Zarick, Isabelle Huang
11 & up - Alexander Phan, Mooney Wang
Here are the important updates you need for the coming week:
Volunteer needs for next meet
We are still in need of a few volunteers for our home meet vs. Clubworx. We need a 6 & under Rope Mover, 2nd shift Clerk of Course, and 2nd shift Order of Finish Judge. Please consider signing up, even if you have met your minimum requirement. These meets are 100% volunteer run and cannot operate smoothly without your help!
Our next Meet - Tuesday June 30th at home against Clubworx Sharks
- Sign up your child or decline by today Friday June 26th at 11:30pm.
- USA THEME! Wear red white and blue, stars & stripes, anything to make it fun and on theme!!
- Swimmers arrive by 4:45p to set up at their age group’s tent, warm up in the pool, & meet their kid-pusher volunteer.
- Shift #1 volunteers check in at the Volunteer Table by 5:30 (Set-up volunteers at 4:00 & Concessions at 5:00). Shift #2 volunteers check in during backstroke since your shift begins at Breaststroke (around 7:30 or 8:00).
- Tuesday looks like it will be much warmer than our past few meets! Please be prepared and instruct your swimmers to stay hydrated and in the shade as much as possible between swims.
- Bring goggles, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, towels, black swimsuit with Anacondas logo, food or money for concessions, a towel or small chair to sit
- Please write the swimmers name on their upper right back with a Sharpie marker. We will have markers at Volunteer Check-in also.
- Supervise your swimmer to ensure they are being safe and respectful throughout the entire meet. The recreational pool and shallow end on the side of the lap pool are CLOSED to swimmers during the meet.
- Swimmers should stay near their age group tent area as much as possible. Have your child communicate with their kid pusher if they need to leave their tent area so your swimmer doesn’t miss their time to swim. Remember that volunteers have limited ability to find swimmers who are not staying in their designated areas.
- Concessions - there will be pizza, Chick-fil-A,, chips, and drinks for sale. We can accept cash (exact change preferred), Venmo, and Apple Cash. Kona Ice will also be on site!
- Ensure your child cleans their space and gathers their belongings before leaving.
End of Season Banquet
We will be holding the banquet on Wednesday July 22nd. We will start with awards and recognitions in the gym at 6pm, then head out to the pool deck for a celebratory dinner and some pool games! You must RSVP to attend this event.
We need volunteers to help with the End of Season Banquet! Please email Lacy Bailey if you are interested in helping! Her email is: [email protected]
