Here are the important updates you need for the coming week:
Our last Meet! - Tuesday July 14th at home vs. Silverton Sharks
****MEET THEME: Christmas in July! Have fun and get creative!!****
Our regular season is almost complete! We have one final meet to finish out our regular season.
- Sign up your child or decline by today, Friday July 10th at 11:30pm. We cannot accept late entries for meets!
- Swimmers arrive by 4:45 pm to set up at their age group’s tent, warm up in the pool, & meet their kid-pusher volunteer.
- Bring goggles, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, towels, black swimsuit with Anaconda logo, food or money for concessions, a towel or small chair to sit on.
- Write the swimmer name & age on their upper right back with Sharpie marker. We will have markers with the Kid Pushers under the age group tents as well.
- Shift #1 volunteers check in at the Volunteer Table at 5:00. Shift #2 volunteers check in during backstroke since your shift begins at Breaststroke (around 7:30 or 8:00).
- Supervise your swimmer to ensure they are being safe and respectful throughout the entire meet.
- Swimmers should stay near their age group tent area as much as possible. Have your child communicate with their kid pusher if they need to leave their tent area so your swimmer doesn’t miss their time to swim. Remember that volunteers have limited ability to find swimmers who are not staying in their designated areas.
- Ensure your child cleans their space and gathers their belongings before leaving.
- Review meet details on our website.
- We will have pizza, chicken sandwiches, drinks, candy, and Kona Ice on site for concessions.
Volunteer Reminder
Thank you to the majority of families who have already completed their required 6 points of volunteering this season. If you are still missing points, the Silverton meet and volunteer banquet are your last chance this season to earn points. Otherwise, you will be assessed a fine as detailed on the volunteer site and agreed to by you in registration. Thank you again for your support in helping make this parent-driven community experience a success!
